Moonlight Slumber CU9000 Review by abm

First of all, I wish I had bought this during my first pregnancy instead of the long rectangular pillow that I had to constantly flip from side to side. But better yet, with the body pillow you get under belly AND back support at once which is so nice. It was a little less poufy than I'd originally thought, but in restrospect that's a good thing. If you are going to bend your knee over it, you don't want to hyperextend your hip. If I need more head pillow for additional height (for heartburn, reflux etc), I tuck another pillow under it just a tad and it works well. I like how malleable the pillow is. I read dozens of reviews before buying this and some people complained about not knowing where to put their arms. Seriously? You can just fold your arms right in front of you and push the pillow slightly in front of you to make room. Even though I'm a side sleeper normally, I do enjoy the 'almost back sleeping'(at 30 or 45 degrees) which this pillow makes possible during pregnancy. It's a nice break for my hips. Overall it's fantastic, not perfect, and I still wake up occasionally to reposition, but I'm no longer tossing and turning like I was at 16 weeks before I bought it. I took it with me on vacation and plan on doing so again. It makes any lumpy mattress like sleeping on a cloud. I can totally see how this will be great for nursing too.

I was hesitant to buy a $100 pillow, but a few months into my pregnancy I just couldn't get comfortable (I usually sleep on my stomach). This pillow has been wonderful. I am now in my 7 month and have had no problems with the pillow losing it's shape or fullness - it is just as comfortable as it was when I first got it. It is a large pillow (takes up almost my entire side of our king size bed) but it has been a lifesaver for my back and navigating the baby bump.
